SHOT!Yo,<div><br /></div><div>Just letting everyone know that the opening sequence of the film has been shot. I wrote the original version of the film 13 years ago and this opening was in the script even then. So, it's intensely gratifying to have finally shot this difficult scene after so long.</div><div><br /></div><div>Film is still progressing. Just slowly. Stay tuned.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div><div><br /></div><div>PS I am needing to recast some parts, so if anyone knows anyone who'd like to be in a film, get them in contact with me. Thanks!</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-60380352852874735882011-07-13T23:15:00.000-07:002011-07-13T23:18:29.853-07:00Molasses Blues!Yo,<div><br /></div><div>So we shall be shooting a little bit more with Kaitlyn and Seth on Friday. And there will also be some more shooting soon with Sarah and Matt. Things are still going. Just a trickle now, but August should be quite busy.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-80738899510688834092011-07-02T19:47:00.000-07:002011-07-02T19:50:59.728-07:00Updates (sorry for the delay)Okay, everyone. It's been hectic since the last update, but things have been happening. We shot this past sunday and this past thursday and got three more scenes done. The logistics of the shoot are becoming clearer and we have about 5% of the film done. That doesn't seem like a lot, but some big scenes should be shot soon and we'll make big gains in a short time.<div><br /></div><div>So, for those of you who have your scenes, practice and memorize those lines. And remember we need all the help we can to find those locations. Please ask around!</div><div><br /></div><div>Until next time.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-50719931703037216092011-06-24T18:29:00.001-07:002011-06-24T18:30:25.043-07:00Slow goingHeya,<div><br /></div><div>Well, or wednesday shoot turned into a friday shoot and now we are going onto sunday. No worries, but energy levels were low. Not enough meth I guess.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-23281056490824818602011-06-18T09:32:00.000-07:002011-06-18T09:35:51.709-07:00HELP! LOCATION NEEDED!Well, actually several locations are needed, but there is one I am most concerned with right now. There's a scene early in the film that takes place at a diner in the middle of the night. The scene shall star Seth DeFayette, Liz Allen and myself. The diner needs to look like a diner. Booths. Etc. We need to be able to shoot at night. And we need it soon. So, search your memories, exploit your contacts, whore yourselves if need be. Get me that diner!<div><br /></div><div>Squish,</div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-82476177450187097702011-06-16T05:53:00.000-07:002011-06-16T05:55:25.549-07:00Next shoot day next weekNext week shall see the next shooting for the movie. Two big scenes are scheduled to be shot Wednesday. Then we shall see if we can squeeze in some more shooting on Friday or Saturday.<div><br /></div><div>Allergies suck.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-30787991889320991732011-06-09T15:51:00.000-07:002011-06-09T15:54:08.965-07:00Momentary Interruption Permanently InterruptedHello all,<div><br /></div><div>As some of you know I was out of town this past week. It's been like pulling teeth, but I am very pleased with what I've got. I'd say the structure of the film is solved. The dialogues are meaty. And the images strong. The next couple days will be all about putting it together. Wish me luck.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-40978030115831787772011-05-08T20:20:00.000-07:002011-05-08T20:29:03.766-07:00LOCATION NEEDED: ANDY MCDONNELL'S HOUSEHeya,<div><br /></div><div>Just to keep certain problems on everyone's minds, I will periodically post about them. In this case, we need to find a location to fill in for the house of the titled art critic, Andy McDonnell.</div><div><br /></div><div>We will need to use the location for one night shoot (2 separate scenes: the beheading scene and a brief return to the scene of the crime by the killer) and one day shoot (one scene: the day after the murder where the killer looks for the critic's head and then kills four cops). It'd be nice if the location has a stairwell for a certain shot, but if not I can shoot the shot somewhere else.</div><div><br /></div><div>We'll most likely shoot both the day and night sessions on the same day, to get out of the owner's hair quickly and also for simplicity's sake. The location needs to be a house, whether it's the whole house or only a floor of it. </div><div><br /></div><div>Please please please, ask around. Associate producer credit or location manager credit is the reward (looks great on a resume!). Any questions, direct them to me.</div><div><br /></div><div>jt</div>Jasonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04826592972475824158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268927890327861798.post-10105748837485572112011-05-08T02:18:00.000-07:002011-05-08T02:21:04.714-07:00THIS JUST IN!Heya,<div><br /></div><div>Just as soon as I posted the cast list, I hear from one of the potential actors.
